We Treat Your Photos with Care

No Watermarks, No Hassle – Just Great Photos

We’ve heard that some photographers charge extra to remove watermarks, and many studios don’t provide full-size photos unless you purchase printed products from them. We hate that!

A good photographer should focus on the client’s experience, and customer satisfaction is always our priority. We don’t care how much money we make from you—we care about how much you love our work.

All the photos we provide to you are watermark-free and in the highest resolution, ready for enlargement anywhere.

Your Wedding Photos, Ready in a Week

All photos can be completed within a week! We understand the excitement of newlyweds waiting for their wedding photos.

However, every time we finish a wedding shoot, we are even more eager to dive into reviewing the photos. Sometimes, even after finishing a shoot in the middle of the night, we excitedly scroll through the day’s captures on our computer. We can’t wait to see the final edited images more than anyone else. So, you will receive your wedding photos within a week 🙂

Our Photo Style – Colour Grading

Colour grading is the soul of a photo, and at Viva Weddings, we believe that natural colours are the ones that truly stand the test of time. A trendy yellow or blue-toned style might look cool today, but what about in 10 or 20 years?

We don’t want your wedding photos to look outdated or “old school” down the track. I still remember when I first started photography — many studios used a brownish tone, which was popular at the time. But look around now — you hardly see that anymore because it’s outdated.

That’s why we always stick to timeless tones. The sky should be blue, the grass should be green. Yellow skies and brown grass might be a trend for a few years, but natural colours will always feel modern, no matter how much time passes.

Editing for a natural colour photo is not easier. In fact, most fashion brands choose natural tones because they want their products to appear true-to-life and avoid misleading customers — and these images often take hours to perfect. Camera RAW files typically contain flat or inaccurate colours, so we spend considerable time adjusting each image to accurately restore the original tones, white balance, and overall atmosphere of the scene.

Achieving this level of accuracy requires years of experience and a solid understanding of colour science, especially how RGB channels work together. Compared to simply applying a blue-toned or brown-toned preset across all images, editing for natural colour demands much more time, skill, and attention to detail — but the results will stand the test of time.

Yes, and we recommend that most couples have an engagement or pre-wedding shoot, as those photos can be printed and displayed at your wedding venue. It adds a personal touch to the décor and helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. It’s also a great way to get to know your photographer’s style and build trust ahead of the wedding.

Yes, you’re welcome to share a list of must-have moments or people you’d like us to prioritise. RAW files are the unedited, unprocessed version of your images — similar to a film negative. They require professional editing to bring out the final look, including colour correction, lighting adjustments, and cropping. Delivering RAW files means handing over unfinished work that doesn’t reflect the photographer’s quality or style.

Photographers develop a consistent editing style as part of their brand, allowing others to edit or publish unprocessed RAW files could misrepresent their work and damage their professional reputation.

Definitely. A professional photographer not only knows how to take great photos but also how to work well with others. Our goal is simple — to help you have an amazing wedding. Whether the videographer is from our studio or another team, we’ll support them and make sure they have the time and space they need to create as well.

Weddings are unlike any other type of shoot. I’ve seen clients hire fashion photographers for their wedding, only to be disappointed with the results. Every field requires its own expertise — and wedding photography is no exception. A professional wedding photographer typically needs experience with at least 300 weddings. Through that many real events and client feedback, they gain a deep understanding of what couples truly care about — not just how the photos look, but how moments are captured, how the day flows, and how to stay calm and efficient under pressure.

A good photographer should focus on the client’s experience, and customer satisfaction is always our priority. We don’t care how much money we make from you—we care about how much you love our work.

All the photos we provide to you are watermark-free and in the highest resolution, ready for enlargement anywhere.

At Viva Weddings, we don’t charge any travel fees if your wedding is based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast. For other locations, a base travel fee may apply depending on the distance.

We use high-quality prime lenses, which have larger apertures and are excellent for capturing clear images in low-light conditions. If your venue is particularly dark, we also bring flash equipment and professional film lighting to ensure every moment is well-lit and beautifully captured.

Absolutely — that’s one of the things that makes Viva Weddings different. Most couples aren’t professional models, and if a wedding is entirely candid with no direction, the results can often look flat or repetitive. We believe a little guidance goes a long way. Simple posing and gentle direction help create variety, natural expressions, and elegant compositions. While some studios promote a purely candid style, it’s often due to a lack of vision. Just like a great film needs a script, a great wedding shoot benefits from thoughtful guidance.
