The Way We Protect Your Wedding Photos & Videos!
I’ve seen many studios lose clients’ wedding data due to carelessness, but I can proudly say we’ve never lost a single piece of data. Why?
We always shoot to dual memory cards
For both photos and videos, we record to two separate memory card slots. So even if one card fails, the other still retains all the data.
We bring multiple cameras and flashes
As professional wedding photographers, having more than one camera and multiple flashes is essential. If something goes wrong with the main gear, we always have backups ready. At Viva Weddings, we even bring three cameras to ensure your shoot is never interrupted by equipment failure.
We have at least four audio backups
For video audio recording (especially during ceremonies and speeches), we always prepare at least four backup plans. Two main microphones are attached to the speaker’s mic. If the speaker supports internal recording, we’ll also connect one for that purpose. In addition, we place another microphone directly in front of the speaker in case the internal one fails. Our main camera also records audio internally, so even if several backups fail, we’ll still have at least one usable audio source.
We prepare for extreme situations
Theft at a venue is rare, but we like to be prepared. After the getting ready, ceremony, and location shoot, we remove the backup memory card from the camera and insert a new one, while keeping the main card in the camera. The backup card is then stored safely in our car. This way, even if our gear is stolen at the venue, your daytime photos are still safe. Rather than losing everything, you’ll still have the most important parts of your wedding day preserved.
How We Protect Your Data After the Wedding Day
When we get home, we immediately transfer all the data to a hard drive and begin uploading it to cloud storage. The original memory cards are kept safely in our car. This way, even if something unexpected happens in the studio, we still have the original files as backup.

What if it rains on my wedding day?
Our cameras are fully weather-resistant and capable of shooting on heavy rainy days. We also provide transparent wedding umbrellas that add an elegant touch to the photos. If during a storm or lightning, there is no suitable location in the venue for photography, we will offer you another two-hour location shoot and only charge $200 for travel fees (weekday only).
Why videography is important?
Videos have the power to convey emotions in a way that photos may not fully capture. The exchange of vows, the laughter, the tears, and other emotional moments are more vividly experienced through moving images and sound.
Why second shooter is important?
At weddings, one photographer’s primary focus is often on the couple. But the participation of family and guests is equally vital for the overall environment. Having a second shooter who can capture moments with guests adds a more comprehensive touch to the entire wedding experience.
Are there any hidden fees?
We want to meet every client’s expectations, so there are no hidden fees. Customer experience is our top priority, and we are transparent about our pricing and services.
Do you travel to other cities?
Certainly, we’d love to fly to different destinations to capture various styles of wedding photos. We only charge $700, which is just enough to cover our flight tickets, accommodation, and car rental.
